What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version
We collect what you type into the estimate form so we can quote your job and get back to you. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't email you anything you didn't ask for.
What the estimate form collects
When you send an estimate request, we receive and store:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email address, whichever you give us
- The address or neighborhood you enter
- The services and counts you select, and the ballpark figure they produce
- Anything you write in the notes field
- Whether you checked the box consenting to text messages
Along with the submission, our server automatically records:
- The IP address the request came from
- Your browser's user-agent string
- Which page you submitted from, and any campaign tags in the link you arrived on — so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for
Where it goes
Submissions are stored in Amazon Web Services (DynamoDB, in AWS's Oregon region) and emailed to us through Amazon SES so we see new requests promptly. AWS processes this data on our behalf as our service provider.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests are automatically deleted two years after they are submitted. If you want yours removed sooner, email hello@whychuswindows.com and we'll delete it — no explanation needed.
Text messages
We only text you if you check the consent box on the form. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop them. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting a quote or hiring us.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies. If website analytics are enabled, they are used only to count visits and see which pages lead to estimate requests — never to build a profile of you or to target ads. The site works fine with cookies blocked.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your information to anyone
- Share it with data brokers or ad networks
- Take payment details through this website
Your choices
Email hello@whychuswindows.com or call (541) 668-4533 to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. We're a small local company — if something here is unclear, just ask.
