Window cleaning in Sisters. We live here.
We're named for the creek that runs through town. The owners are on every job, which around here mostly means you'll see us again at the store the following week.
The Sisters year, window by window
Glass here has a season, and knowing which one you're in changes what the job actually is.
Central Oregon juniper is brutal and it films glass and cakes screens. This is the one time of year the $2 screen add-on is doing the most work.
Second homes and rentals opening up for summer. Book ahead of Rodeo week β the whole town gets busy.
Wildfire season leaves a film that streaks if you wipe it dry. Also when solar output complaints start.
The gutter month. Needles mat down and hold water, and downspouts plug from the bottom up.
We still work through the cold months. Road spray and de-icer settle low on street-facing panes, and it's the season you actually sit and look out the window.
Second homes, and the people who aren't in them
A good share of the glass around Sisters belongs to someone who isn't standing in front of it β Black Butte Ranch, Camp Sherman, the places off Tollgate that sit empty half the year. That changes the job more than the glass does. We let ourselves in when you've arranged it, we photograph anything that looks wrong before we touch it, and we text you pictures when we're off the property. You don't need to drive over from Portland to point at a window.
If it's a short-term rental rather than your own place, turnovers are a different rhythm again β see rentals, property managers and HOAs.
